About us
BCF is a non-denominational church that began in 1962, located in the heart of Ohio Amish Country. We formed in the midst of a local move of God that has impacted our course ever since. The Apostle John described the glory of Jesus like this: "the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." It's our desire to follow the One and Only and for our church to be a family full of His grace and truth.

OUR BELIEFS
1) CHRIST-CENTERED: Our primary theology is Jesus Himself. He is the Living Word. God's opinion about Himself and God's opinion about us. Through that Person, His statements, and His actions we interpret and conclude all other beliefs. (John 14:8-9; Hebrews 1:1-4; John 1:1-4; John 14:6).
2) THE TRINITY: God is one, eternal, and self-existent in three persons: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. They are, and have always been, in complete unity. God is love, mutual honor, and perfect relationship in His very being. Jesus did not save us from an angry Father. Rather, "For God (The Father, The Son, The Spirit) so LOVED the world, that He gave..." (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-2,14; John 4:24; Acts 5:3-4; Ephesians 4:5-6; 2 Corinthians 13:17).
3) THE SCRIPTURE: The Bible is the written word of God. It is God-breathed, infallible, inspired and authoritative. This doesn't mean that mankind is ever infallible in teaching it or understanding it. Rather, because it is truth, the Scripture calls us up- to understand, to listen, to learn, to humble ourselves, to obey and, most importantly, to know the Author, God Himself, for whom there is no substitute. (2 Tim. 3:16; John 5:39-47)
4) THE GOSPEL: In Christ alone. By grace alone. Through faith alone. Jesus' work with the Father and the Spirit on the cross completed their work of rescuing, redeeming and forgiving us - All sins, of all people, for all time. He was, and remains, the perfect, effective, finished and only sacrifice. (Eph. 2:8-9, Heb. 10:14-18)
Jesus, through whom all things were made, was "slain from the foundation of the world", promised through all the history of Israel, sent from the Father in the fullness of time, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, was testified by angels, by the Father and by signs and wonders. He revealed the Kingdom of God, showed us the Father, promised His Spirit, suffered and died, was buried, descended into hell, won back the keys of death and hell and rose again from the dead on the third day. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father and will come again to judge the living and the dead. He has poured out upon us the Holy Spirit, filling us and empowering us to do His miraculous work and even greater things than He had done, and has commissioned us to go and make disciples of all nations. Before He comes for us, He will finally be revealed in us! A bride without spot or wrinkle, and Sons of God fully revealed to a groaning creation.
